Hooray, we get to leave the hospital today! Ian had a second MRI this morning and his blood clot has gotten smaller.
I am excited but nervous to go home now. I don't know if I can sleep at night for fear that he might seize or something in the middle of the night and I wouldn't know it. I guess I'll be camping out on his floor.

Thank you for stopping by Ian's blog. The purpose of this blog is to keep a more central location for news on his condition. Since he's been diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL) we have been overwhelmed with giving Ian all of our attention and we cannot possibly answer all phone calls, email, etc. We will regularly post to this blog information that we learn and new events in regards to his progress.
We cannot begin to tell you how many concerned friends and family we have. Everyone is asking what you can do to help. The best things you can do right now is pray, hope, educate yourself on ALL, and donate blood to keep the banks full. Hospitals use a lot of healthy blood for sick people.

So glad to hear he's getting better. I was beside myself when I found out about Ian's episode. Anne and I check up quite often to hear how you all are doing. It's made us do some reality checks with what's important in our own family. Ian is also included in Haylie's prayers now. You guys are troopers. Keep the faith.
